About Adela

Born in Mexico and shaped by life in three countries, I’ve been fortunate to learn from diverse cultures and perspectives. I work fluidly in Spanish, English, and Hebrew, and I bring this global understanding to every conversation.

For over 15 years, I’ve specialized in Bioenergetic Analysis—a therapeutic approach that honours the deep connection between body and mind. My two greatest passions? Helping families find peace and harmony, and guiding people to reconnect with their bodies in meaningful ways.

How I work

I believe our bodies hold wisdom we often overlook. In my practice, I integrate psychotherapy, counselling, trauma work, and body-centred techniques to help you understand what your body is trying to tell you. Whether through one-on-one sessions or my weekly Movement classes, we’ll explore the sensations in your body and what they mean—helping you express emotions more clearly and feel more authentic in your life.

My background includes training in physical education, the Feldenkrais® Method, yoga, and the Trager® Approach. I’m also a Clinical Supervisor and local Bioenergetics trainer, and I’ve had the privilege of presenting my work at international conferences, including keynotes on trauma recovery and gender identity.

Why this matters

After 40 years of studying movement and its profound effect on emotional well-being, I’ve learned this: when we listen to our bodies, we discover new ways of being in the world. My practice, Healing in Process, reflects my commitment to meeting each person exactly where they are—honouring your unique story while helping you move toward greater vitality and peace.

I’d be honoured to support you on your journey.
