Here is the translation to formal Spanish (using “usted” instead of “tú”):
Me deja sintiéndome inquieto, descontento e inseguro.

Our Celtic Hearth, Grand Pré, Nueva Escocia
Psssst…… TAKE A LOOK!
The fact that you can read what is written on this page is a manifestation that your eyes are working pretty well. Are you aware of how our communication with each other has shifted, from a full body/voice experience to mainly using our eyes and fingers?
Having spent a couple of hours on my cell phone greeting people for Christmas and New Year and actually talking to no one, I realize how tremendously important my eyes are, in order to facilitate my interaction with others, and help me have a sense of belonging.
It occurred to me that, I must reflect on how my sense of vision has guided me through many different paths this past year. I have so delighted in seeing beautiful sights, people’s smiles and interesting and inspiring readings, all daily miracles that I have been gifted with.
I have chosen to THANK my eyes for serving me so well. I invite you to do the same this coming year, 2024. Do not take anything for granted. Pause and reflect; practice GRATITUDE for every part of your body that serves you every day at any time.
Following is a short video giving you some ideas on how to care for your eyes.
May you be blessed with a clear vision this coming year!
Psssst……
He decidido AGRADECER a mis ojos por servirme tan bien.

- “Electromagnetic cuddles” have you ‘checked – in’ with your body?
Now that the vaccinations for COVID-19 are rolling out – and activities have begun to open up while we are still ‘social distancing’ – I checked in with my body. We, my body and my ‘Self’, have so longed to talk with, touch, and be touched by others since this Pandemic began. Yet, there was a sense of stagnation and caution. “How do I go about this?”, I asked. I felt the impulse to hug, to let my unbridled joy be expressed when I met my good friends, yet caution held me back: I felt the ‘stuck-ness’…..
We are surrounded by an electromagnetic force and our organs are constantly pulsing; energy is produced, and is stored in our molecules, the effects of which can been noticed in the brightness of our eyes, the tone of our voice, and our demeanour amongst other ways.
When move to be physically close to another, our individual electromagnetic energies interact with each other forming electric currents, and energy is stored from these electromagnetic ‘cuddles’. When we interact with others, our molecules move; we produce e-motions, and together we produce an energy that is bigger than the 2, 3 or more of us.
Having been relatively isolated from most people in the world, my energy, like a car that has not been driven for some time, felt like moving in molasses. What to do?
Bioenergetic therapists use themselves as ‘Therapeutic Tools’ when relating to clients. We have trained to sense the electromagnetic force surrounding, within, and amongst people. We facilitate our clients’ e-motional expressions and development, by listening to their story, while observing their body language. We create movements specifically designed to facilitate the body to get unstuck, to follow its impulse. Consequently, people can feel more alive and effervescent.

- Expectations
By: Adela Gorodzinsky, CBT, R.P.
“Whatever it is you’re seeking, won’t come in the way you expect it” by Haruki Murakami
How many Mothers’ Days have you woken up expecting certain things to happen – either for yourself, or from you towards others?
How many times, while in relationship, have you expected your significant other to fulfill your certain needs, only to be disappointed because what you were expecting did not happen, or did not happen in the way you wanted it to happen?
My experience has been that when I have and think about an expectation, it usually does not work for me. However, when I take the time to notice what my body is feeling and listen to the messages it is giving me, I ‘ground’ in reality and I know that I can trust.
Yes, I can trust that whatever happens, in any way it may happen, I am going to be OK. Once I can ground myself in trust, the miracle occurs; yet not at the time that I wanted it, but at the time that I needed it!
Bioenergetics has taught me to manage anxiety, fear, sadness and even excitement and joy. Doing my daily Bioenergetic exercise routine, including: stretching; grounding; and emotionally connected movement, it has trained me to feel at peace.
- Trauma into the body- Healing into relationship
With Violaine De Clerck, Certified Bioenergetics Therapist and International Trainer.
The trip to get to Montreal this February, in the middle of a snow storm, gave some participants the opportunity to try out our self-soothing techniques and to draw on our inner resources to stay calm and grounded. Most of the flights to Montreal were cancelled on the day of our actual scheduled flights. The morning text on my phone read:” AC flight 1960CANCELLED. Reason: weather”. Nothing else!I felt dumbfounded and isolated. After a few minutes, I called Ann and Carol. What made it easier for me to cope with the sudden change was The sense of CONNECTION.
Once I spoke to my peers, my frontal cortex connected with my amygdala and I knew what to do next. Amazing! That was the topic of our Trauma workshop with certified Bioenergetic psychotherapist and trainer Violaine De Clerck.
The group of 12 participants was led into a grounding dance every morning. Boy oh boy, if we were not feeling our legs before that dance, we surely felt them after it!
In her warm way and with a delightful French accent, Violaine described the polyvagal theory and taught us a few techniques that proved to be very effective. “Surrender to the Mother” was very moving and a new version of “Falling” turned out to be super informative.
Great discussions were also held on how the borderline personality disorder comes to be. According to Violaine it may originate in the triangulating of The child amongst the parents amidst an insecure attachment. The biggest take away taught by Violaine Was:
“Without safety, there can be no healing, and when there is safety, the healing cannot be stopped.”
To end this blog, I suggest that you ponder on the following question:
As my colleague Ann asked: “What does safety mean to you?”
